El centro de día para los niños "Schöne Aussicht" es un prototipo
de un edificio diseñado para la construcción de distintas guarderías en Frankfurt-Main.
Su diseño ha sido desarrollado sobre la base de un concurso ganado en 2009. El
centro consta de dos plantas y diferentes tamaños que, en estos momentos, están
siendo construidos en distintas localizaciones
en la ciudad de Frankfurt. Los edificios constan de un esqueleto resistente de madera que cumplen con el estándar de “casa
pasiva”.
/ The day-care centre for children
“Schöne Aussicht” is a prototype of the building block design system for
childcare facilities in Frankfurt on the Main. The design has been developed on
the basis of a competition won in 2009. The centre comprises two-storey
buildings of varying sizes, which are currently erected at several locations in
the city of Frankfurt. The buildings are timber structures which meet the
passive house standard.
A partir del 1 de agosto 2013 todos los niños alemanes tienen derecho a una
plaza en un centro desde la edad de un año. Por lo tanto, los municipios en
Alemania están obligados a proporcionar este derecho en una guardería o en un
centro de día. Aunque, principalmente, en las grandes ciudades y las zonas de
alta densidad de población aún queda mucho trabajo por hacer efectiva la
aplicación de esta legislación. Por este motivo, en 2009 la ciudad de Frankfurt-Main
organizó el concurso de diseño "Baukastensystem für
Kindertagesstätten" (sistema de diseño de prototipos destinados a la
construcción modular de centros de cuidado infantil) con el objetivo de estudiar
variantes que pudieran ser implementadas de manera repetitiva en distintos
lugares de la ciudad. Birk Heilmeyer und
Frenzel Architekten fue uno de los equipos ganadores del concurso. El primer centro de atención diurna para niños basados en este sistema de
diseño modular ya se ha completado. En la actualidad hay cinco más en
construcción o en el proceso de diseño.
/ As of 1 August 2013 children are
entitled to a place at a day-care facility from the age of one. Thus,
municipalities in Germany are obliged to provide this slot in a crèche or a
daycare centre. Particularly in large cities and areas of high population
density much work remains to be done to implement the legislation. Hence, in
2009 the City of Frankfurt on the Main organised the design competition
“Baukastensystem für Kindertagesstätten” (building block design system for
childcare facilities) with the objective to acquire type designs, which can be
implemented several times at various locations in the city. Birk Heilmeyer und Frenzel Architekten
came off as one of the winners of the competition. The first day-care centre
for children based on the building block design system has now been completed.
At present there are five more under construction, or in the design process.
Todas las actividades internas del centro están volcadas hacia la
"plaza central”: un amplio vacío rematado con claraboyas que conecta directamente
con la zona al aire libre. Esto permite que tanto el paso del día como de las
estaciones se haga perceptible al interior, creando un estado de ánimo
agradable en sus usuarios. Con reminiscencias de un molino de viento, ocho
"bloques construidos" se organizan en dos plantas alrededor del
espacio central. Estos boques albergan las estancias de grupo y otras zonas del
edificio. Distribuir las distintas funciones en los cuatro bloques existentes
por planta, da margen de maniobra suficiente para permitir distintas configuraciones
en los distintos de centros de día para niños. De esta manera, es posible ajustarse
a las particulares condiciones del terreno, así como a las diferentes
necesidades en términos de los grupos de edad (niños menores de 3 años, de la
guardería o más adelante en el club de la escuela). La estructura de acero que
da forma a la “loggia” actúa como zona de transición entre el interior y el
exterior. Una amplia pantalla de textil de protección solar se extiende entre
los pilares de acero.
/ All in-house activities hinge on the
central “village square”. The well-balanced void and its skylight offer a
connection to the outdoor area. This makes the change of day time and seasons
perceptible and creates a pleasant natured mood in the interior. Reminiscent of
a windmill eight “building blocks” are arranged over two storeys around the
village square. These accommodate the group rooms and other building areas. Spreading
the functions over the four building blocks per storey gives sufficient leeway to
allow for various configurations within the building block series of day-care
centres for children. This way we can react to the respective conditions on
site and to different needs of service in terms of the age groups (children
under the age of 3, nursery school or after school club). The attached
steel-structure loggia serves as transition area from inside to outside. A wide
textile screen for sun protection spans between the steel pillars.
El KiTa (guardería) "Schöne Aussicht" ubicado en el Riedberg de
Frankfurt es el primer proyecto completado de la serie prevista de diseño modular. La
instalación cuenta con cinco grupos y da servicio aproximadamente a 100 niños. Localizado
en una amplia parcela urbana, desde el KiTa "Schöne Aussicht" se
disfruta de una amplia panorámica del barrio en continuo crecimiento y del
horizonte de Frankfurt.
/ The KiTa (childcare centre) “Schöne
Aussicht” located at Frankfurt’s Riedberg is the first completed project of the
building block design series. The five-group facility has now been commissioned
and during the day it offers living space for around 100 children. Located on a
terraced site the KiTa “Schöne Aussicht” offers a view on the steadily growing
urban district and the Frankfurt skyline.
